Pre-School Graduation

Lily graduated preschool!  So proud of her! There wasn't really an official graduation but her school had an all school picnic and her teacher, Ms. Lanny came and talked to Lily and gave her her certificate! It was so adorable.  Here is a shot of her with her teacher...

We are excited for Lily to start Kindergarten at her new school. That in itself was a HUGE Challenge. With, Lennox still attending Beloved Montessori in West Linn and Dan and I both working in Portland I was not excited about having Lily in Oregon City. I mean all of us in a different city each day? Pain in the BUTT!  I really wanted Lily to at least be near Lennox to make drop offs and pick ups slightly easier on us.  So we filled out all the papers and jumped through all the hoops and waited several LOOOOONG months to find out if Lily's name got pulled to be in West Linn school district. A lottery. I was basically told move to West Linn. Well..... I finally got the call! A call no less, from the actual school we applied for. They called to let me know they got word that, Lily would be joining them next year! I literally bawled!  Im pretty sure the wonderful lady thought I was crazy but I was so thankful and the call was completely unexpected (I was expecting an email....which actually came from the school district a few days later).  Dan and I are thrilled that Lily will be attending the school we picked just a few minutes from where Lennox will be. We have also heard amazing things about West Linn School district and now BOTH kids will attend WLSD for the duration. Which reminds me...The High School Mascot? Lion. Yup. For those of you who don't know that was my HS mascot. So it was meant to be.

And for the fun of it...I must not leave Lennox out. He had a blast at the school picnic too...
