Where does the time go? One minute I am keeping right on top of things and then the next I can't figure out where to start? There are NOT enough hours in a day no matter how I look at it. There are so many things I need/want to do and I just have to do my best to prioritize which is good...but I wish I could DO IT ALL! Some day Ill feel caught up right? Maybe Jan? Thats my slow season for Bliss and of course the holidays and travel will be all wrapped up by then. Until then...Enjoy my chaos and Ill see if I can keep you guys up to date. First...I am back from Reno and yes I missed my little Lily. Until I came home and she stopped sleeping through the night again. Then I wished I was back in Reno in my quiet cozy bed! ha ha! Just kidding (but I did enjoy the night of sleep...whew). My little girl has just decided sleep is overrated. That is the only thing I can figure. Some nights she does okay. Others are terrible. Last night for example we fought her every hour until 12:30 am. Then she slept till 9:30! Seriously! Dan checked on her at 6am worried that she WAS sleeping. Geez. Well she has proven she can do it. Now if she can just be on a roll...Mommy and Daddy would REALLY appreciate it.
Next...Thanksgiving! Lily's first turkey day was spent with some family and friends at our house! It was nice having everyone here and Lily of course enjoyed being the center of attention. We even had her at the head of the table in her high chair. I am of course a horrible mom and only got a few photos on my iPhone. But hey that is better than nothing right? I snagged a few of the decor too!
The decorating is always my favorite part as the cooking is really Dan's expertise. I just "pretend" to help. You don't want me cooking your turkey dinner trust me! Here is a couple photos of the table decorations including the wine cork name cards Dan and I made...
Lily and "Grandpa Wade" had some bonding time. Or TV time? Hmmm....Think they look alike?
Don't worry Papa did play with her and even held her why she slept. So sweet...
Lily spent part of her day playing on her little mat...Or should I say scooting away from it! Miss Lily is working on her crawling skills. Almost there! She is scooting backwards so far...
All in all the day was nice and fun. The day ended with Lily in her "Turkey Coma"....Gobble Gobble (thanks to Gma for the adorable Thanksgiving attire!)
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and were able to spend it with loved ones!
