Finally...I am getting to finish up Christmas. Hey...at least its not Feb, Yet. LOL. If you can believe I still have a couple people to get gifts to but I was able to ship out quite a few boxes this am. Whew. So much for starting in Aug...I STILL did not finish in time. Oh well. Hopefully when people see their handmade gifts they will forgive me. Christmas Day was spent at my mom's house in Reno. When walking in the door all I could say was HOLY PRESENTS! The tree and Santa EXPLODED. It was nuts. Here is a pic of our overflowing stockings and two views of the tree. Not sure how exactly we were able to make it to the couch...
I was so excited for people to open the gifts I made for them and of course for Lily to enjoy her gifts that I didnt care about my own presents. It was funny. I had a PILE...and I mean a PILE of gifts as more than half of them were Lily's. She did pretty good "helping" open her gifts and enjoyed playing with them. Her little cousin, Landon was kind enough to help her out as well. No one managed to get a photo of me buried in gifts (dang it!) but here is some random shots of gift opening.
One of Lily's favorite gifts is a book that her Uncle Jordy and Aunt Jenn recored their voices reading it. Its Goldie Locks and the Three Bears. SO CUTE! She also loves her bowling set mommy and daddy got her. I mean have to start her early right? Oh and the doll. We can not forget the doll. Sorry Mom...LOVE YA...but this goofy cabbage patch doll takes the prize for Lily's FAVORITE toy. I dont hate Cabbage Patch kids but there is something about this one that bugs me? But Lily....She LOVES it. So I guess thats all that matters. Her Gma got it for her and Lily just lights up and kisses it everytime she plays with it. Lily did get tons of gifts and I know I could go on and on about it but I wont list everything. I promise we appreciated ALL her gifts and are getting good use out of everything. It was a perfect first Christmas for her and us.
Here is Lily with her favorite doll...
And here is Lily checking out one of her Books from Aunt Destiny...
I wasnt able to get photos of everyone opening their "crafty gifts" from me. But I was able to snag one of my little sis Courtney with her handmade apron...(PS please note...I learned to sew in August of this last year! LOL)
And in case you havent seen Lily's new bowling set....
My mom had a beautifully decorated table for our Christmas Dinner and I love the little details. So I snagged a couple shots of it too...
This post is probably a bit long...but lots of photos (and I am trying to cut back on what I post! ha ha). Just a couple more. I love this photo of Grandma snuggling with her two grandkids!
Love this little series of Landon and Lily. Landon was soooo good with Lily!
And finally....The end to what was a wonderful Christmas. Lily + Mommy snuggles....
Hope you enjoyed the pics!
