Visit with Lily! It was great getting to see Lily and hang out with her. She is such a character now and her own little person with her own little personality. Like I said before, if you blink, you will miss the baby. And while on the topic of missing things, I am pretty sure that Lily has totally decided that if she sleeps she might miss out on something she needs to experience.
Lily also did some brand new things while I was there. She started dancing and grooving whenever she heard music. She said Ba, a whole new sound, whenever she looked at her new baby Gma brought her. She laughed and laughed at her Mom for reasons only she knows which made us laugh and then she laughed more. She is a little shy at first, wary of crowds for sure and a HUGE Daddyβs girl. Happiness for her was not just being near wherever Daddy was, but being WITH Daddy. I tried to help out a few times by holding her next to her Daddy when he was busy doing something, nope, not good enough just basking in the glow of her Daddy, if she sees him she wants hands on Daddy-time.
I am certain by the time we meet again for her first birthday party next month, Lily will be a whole new person for Gma to get to know and she will be doing lots more new things.
