For Lily's actual bday (which was Monday April 23...two days after her party) we wanted to have a family day. So we took Lily to the Zoo for the 1st time. Lily was great and I think she had a good day. Although the kids were far more interesting then the animals. There wasnt a petting zoo or animals that were super close so it was hard to get a shot of Lily with any animals but we did snag a few while relaxing in the grass. I also grabbed a couple of the monkeys since they were her favorite. Although maybe its just when I say to her "Lily what does the Monkey say?" She looks at me curious....and I make the "Monkey Sound"....Big smiles and giggles. I must be funny :) She also liked the penguins but I think that is just because she could stand at put her face on the glass. Maybe she was trying to give them kisses as they swam by?
