Supporting Fellow Artists
Someone once said “Why would you buy/hang someone else’s photos if you were a photographer?” This stuck with me. Well. Why wouldn’t you? Just because I am a photographer does not mean only my art matters. Or only my art means something to me. Other art can speak to you or be something more than what you can offer. Or maybe they visited a place you may never go. To me, there is something special about owning a piece by another artist.

I have a good friend Wawa, Whom gifted me a print for my 40th birthday. It is a beautiful photograph that I have printed on metal and hanging in my office. I LOVE it. Not only is it from a good friend and artist who I admire, it makes me smile every day.
I will tell you that any time you buy another artists work you are making THEM smile! Nothing is more fulfilling than knowing something you created is being displayed and enjoyed by someone else. Trust me. My smile is so big every time I see my art hanging on your walls. I know that what I do is making a difference and decorating your homes.
Today I want to celebrate another artist. Someone whom has been in our lives for many years and has filled the role of grandpa to my children. Someone whom I admire and love learning from. Someone whom deserves all the LOVE for his beautiful book he had published! Meet Dave Hutt.
