Valentines Mini Session

I love that having kids has made mini session so much easier for Bliss. Basically if I "need" photos of my kids its the perfect opportunity to turn it into a mini session.  It is way more fun for me and then I can spend more time and energy on the ideas for it right? Plus when I get a couple winning shots of the kids it makes me so happy. We have to remember that photographing my own children is more challenging than any job I could ever have. Trying to be the mom, while trying to capture "candid" shots (or even posed for that matter) is next to impossible. I try to time box it to a quick 20 minute session as I know much past that, Game Over. At least now that I have two kids I can try and take advantage of whichever is more cooperative. Ha.

Fabulous right? I call it a win. But then you get these moments where I melt.

Id say my quick 20 minute session passed with flying colors this time. Maybe I can train them after all?
